From the Basileiai Hellēnikai Collection of Exceptional Tetradrachms and from the collection of W. Weise, Künker 347, 22 March 2021, 808 (with collector's ticket), ex Leu 48, 10 May 1989, 259 and Hess-Leu 36, 17-18 April 1968, 322.
The late Seleukid tetradrachms from Susa are often struck on thick, compact flans. This becomes especially noticeable when compared in hand to those from Antioch: for instance, this piece is only 24 mm wide, whereas Lots 313 and 314 above measure 30-31 mm - despite naturally having the same weight.
